I so hope this gets to you, and if it does...I'm one of many keeping the crusade going for you Stevie, once again in hopes that you know we, your fans, are basically your echo if you haven't guessed that already...your presence is deeply missed and requested for the honor of gracing us with it. You are and have always been special regardless if you don't need the spotlight anymore and that is accepted...just don't forget that the vast quantity of us out here who have never seen you in concert would just love it even if it were for just one last time, I know it's a lot to ask, but hopefully you can understand that about us. Dear Steve,
In September of 1978 I began my Journey in life. The Infiinity album had just been released and my parents had just bought it. My journey of listening to your music had also just begun.
As a toddler I clearly remember singing the Na Na Na Nana chorus of "Lovin Touchin Squeezin'" all around the house and driving my parents insane with it!
There are so many moments in my life where your music has been there. So many moments when it was there to make me laugh or cry, or just make me feel better. For all of those moments I thank you.
Your music has brought so much joy in to my life. It has helped me find some of my closest and best friends, and for that gift I can not thank you enough.
You are an inspiration, and to me you will always be the voice of Journey....my Journey....my journey through life. I am so proud to call myself a fan of yours.
